Bangalore: In keeping with tradition, the Bearys held their Annual Meet on the first Saturday of the year (6th January 2024). Employees and their families from the head office and various projects and construction sites across, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Shivamogga, Dubai and Bangalore including Bearys Innomarketing, gathered at Bearys Global Research Triangle (BGRT), Whitefield at 10 am, a choice venue for all Bearys major events.
The program started with the popular invocation song ‘Ye Maalik There Bandhe Hum’ which has virtually become the Bearys anthem loved and sung by one and all. The gathering was addressed by Mr. Syed Mohamed Beary who gave a brief overview of the Bearys projects and shared the new learnings and experience of the new projects, especially the Microsoft project at Hyderabad which was a great learning lesson and helped the Bearys team to up their skills especially on documentation and processes. Spurred by the inspiring saying “Learn from the cradle to the grave” he urged the staff to make learning a continuous process to be better at their work and make excellence a continuous journey rather than a destination. He made it a point to call out each team and their leader and personally applaud their performance and contribution. Star employees were commended and rewarded.
He announced the fabulous opportunities ahead of us which came to him during his recent travel in US and KSA. He also spoke about the Bearys maiden project ‘His Grace’ in Dubai. He shared his larger dream of making Bearys a Global brand. He asked the staff to own his dream and work for its success. In this regard he also proclaimed that all staff members should grow beyond their present positions by taking additional responsibilities and ownership. The management will constitute a team to evaluate and recommend the designation, job description and increment and take on additional responsibilities. The organization lays no limitations on furthering ambitions and fostering growth of each and every staff member.
On another note, Mr. Beary recognized and felicitated employees who had served the organization for 10 years and more and for the best performer at every project with attractive cash prizes and citations. Attractive cash rewards were also distributed to employees who got married in 2023 and for those who were blessed with new- born children. Gift cards based on tenure of service were distributed to all the employees. The other directors, Mr. Ashraf Beary, Mr. Siddique Beary, Mr. Mazhar Beary and the senior management team including Mr. Sambashiva Rao, Project Director, from Hyderabad shared their invaluable knowledge and motivated the employees to uphold values and keep up the good work and performance.
After a sumptuous lunch and fellowship, the staff and their families reassembled for distribution of education funds under the Bearys unique ‘Shiksha and Suraksha scheme’ constituted to specially support the children of Bearys employees especially the lower strata to ensure that every child of the extended Bearys family should continue their education, accomplish great things and be successful in life.
All the employees and their families regaled with a host of recreation activities and games conducted by staff members which went on till the evening. All in all, it was a truly rewarding and memorable day for staff and their families.
