Shivamogga witnessed one of its most exciting and impactful events of 2024 with the second edition of the Bearys Green Run, held on December 22, 2024, at Bearys City Centre. This event, following the remarkable success of the inaugural Green Run in 2023 and the Bearys Green Ride – Cyclothon earlier this year, attracted over 1,000 participants, including a special category for differently-abled individuals.
The Bearys Green Run is an initiative by Bearys Group to promote fitness, healthy living, and environmental awareness. It highlights the importance of eco-friendly transportation and tree planting as part of its larger vision for sustainable development. On this occasion, Bearys Group distributed 1,000 saplings for planting across Shivamogga, contributing to the city’s green cover and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
Mr. Siddique Beary, Deputy MD of Bearys Group, graced the event and emphasized the need for physical fitness across all age groups and the importance of preserving nature for future generations. He expressed his gratitude to the participants for their enthusiasm and warmly recalled the presence of the late Dr. Tulsi Gowda, who had honored the first edition of the Green Run in 2023.
The event’s success was further amplified by the active support of its partners, including National InfrabuildPvt. Ltd., Thirthahalli, and Decathlon. Their collaboration helped create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere for participants and attendees alike.
