Mangaluru, 23 September 2026: Syed Mohamed Beary, Founder & CMD, Bearys Group, participated as a panelist in the exclusive roundtable “Mangaluru, the Data Centre City” at Mangaluru Technovanza 2026, held at the TMA Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru.
Organised under Karnataka’s Beyond Bengaluru initiative by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), Mangaluru Technovanza 2026 brought together industry leaders, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups, investors, policymakers, academia, and other ecosystem stakeholders to explore opportunities shaping Mangaluru’s technology and innovation landscape.
The Panel discussion brought together Syed Mohamed Beary, Founder & CMD, Bearys Group; Sajiv Nair, CIO & CISO, ESDS Software Solution Limited; Nitin M. Jakatya, CBO, Henox IT and Datacenters Private Limited; and Rahul R., Managing Director & CRO, VergeCloud, with the session moderated by Amit Mishra, Head of Startup & VC Relations, Yotta Data Services Private Limited.
The discussion focused on the role of data centre capacity, subsea cable connectivity, and regional infrastructure in shaping the next phase of digital growth. The panel also explored the infrastructure, connectivity, power, talent, and ecosystem requirements needed to strengthen Mangaluru’s potential as a next-generation data centre hub.
The roundtable discussion event in which Syed Mohamed Beary was par of brought together prominent government and industry representatives, including Mr. L.K. Atheeq, Financial Adviser to the Chief Minister of Karnataka; Mr. B.V. Naidu, Chairman, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission; Mr. Darshan H.
