Focus on youngsters’ future essential: Jayaprakash Hegde
Kundapur, 22-02-2025: Former MP K. Jayaprakash Hegde stressed the importance of creating employment opportunities alongside education in today’s competitive world. Speaking at the Job Fair 2025 at Bearys First Grade College, he praised the Bearys Group of Institutions for organizing the inclusive event and encouraged elected officials to focus on securing a better future for the younger generation.
Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole highlighted the role of education in societal improvement and the need for employment opportunities for educated individuals. He also commended coastal Karnataka’s educational institutions, including Bearys Group, for their national recognition.
Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman of Bearys Education, highlighted the institution’s commitment to not only providing education but also creating employment opportunities. He emphasized that obtaining a degree alone is insufficient; securing a good job is crucial for achieving life milestones and contributing to national development. Beary also stressed the need to focus on job creation alongside job-seeking and assured support for self-employment initiatives, noting that employment generation requires both government and public cooperation.
Haji K.M. Abdurrahman Beary, President of Kodi Bearys Group of Institutions, emphasized the importance of not just awarding degrees but also providing pathways to employment.
Over 30 companies participated in the event, with more than 2,000 job seekers registering. Nearly 400 candidates were placed, and around 200 were shortlisted.
