24th Annual Day celebration of Bearys Public School (BPS) and His Grace Montessori

Mangalore: The 24th annual day celebration of Bearys Public School (BPS) and His Grace Montessori took place at the Town Hall, Mangalore on the theme ‘Shades of India – Echoes of the past, vision of the future.’

Chief Guest Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, and notable figures like Padmashree Harekala Hajabba, Moosabba P Beary, President of MEIF, Anitha F Patrao, Advocate and Notary, and Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman & Managing Trustee of Bearys Academy of Learning, graced the occasion.

Dr. Mohan Alva, the keynote speaker, emphasized the crucial role of parental involvement in children’s education. He urged parents to be responsible guardians, particularly highlighting the need for monitoring children’s online activities and technology usage. Expressing concern about the misuse of technology, Dr.Alva stressed the importance of observing children’s behaviour closely in the competitive educational landscape.

Commending Syed Mohamed Beary’s leadership, Dr. Alva lauded his vision and dedication in transforming the institution. Dr.Alva metaphorically described Bearys Academy of Learning as a sapling that has grown into a majestic tree, attributing its success to Syed Mohamed Beary and his team’s hard work.

Mr. Syed Mohamed Beary, addressed the students, and shared valuable life advice, encouraging them to strengthen their connection with the divine to navigate life’s uncertainties. Expressing gratitude to the teachers and staff, he recognized their collective efforts in shaping the success of Bearys Public School.

Principal Khatijatul Khubra presented the annual report, and special guests, Padmashree Harekal Hajabba and Rajyothsava award winner Moosabba P Beary, were felicitated for their prestigious awards. The event featured a cultural program on the theme by the school’s students, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Tanisha Fathima.
